With so many massive nightclubs now in Las Vegas, there never seems to be enough chic lounges to chill out in. Enter Alain Ducasse’s stunning new Skyfall Lounge which sits atop the 64th floor of The Delano Hotel, providing a stunning 180 degree view of Sin City along with out-of-this-world signature cocktails.
The Skyfall Lounge opened this month to compliment The Delano’s new restaurant, Rivea. It provides a hip haven where guests can relax and savor some creative libations before or after dinner. Should you get hungry, you can order a number of tasty starters from Rivea’s menu, like striped bass carpaccio, calamari fritters, beef sliders, along with fine selections of charcuterie and cheese.
Skyfall Lounge’s comfortable yet sleek atmosphere comes from the minds of top design duo, Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku. This new space is perfect to impress a date or you can also make it your prime party destination with the likes of Disclosure and Gorgon City, gradually picking up the tempo as the night progresses. In fact the sheer quality of the music and drinks alone are really what helps make this lounge standout from similar swanky rooftop hotspots.
Every detail has been considered at Skyfall Lounge. They have a “golden hour” selection of specialty drinks offered nighty from 5-7p.m., which are all ideal for savoring during a sunset. Try the Sierra Apertivo, which pairs Grey Goose orange vodka with Aperol and a personal champagne selection from Alain Ducasse. We are also big fans of the Heritage Julep, which combines Calvados, Oregon pear liquer, Amaro Montenegro with some dashes of fresh cinnamon and mint. Martini lovers will definitely want to take part in Skyfall’s martini education selections, which would all be approved by James Bond himself. Bottle service is also done differently. If you order a bottle of vodka or whiskey, not only would you get that, but also you will be provided traditional mixers that are tailored to each spirit so you can create your own signature cocktails.
The menu also offers different takes on traditional cocktails, like the Negroni, which is called Live Oak at Skyfall Lounge and comes with Bombay dry gin, smoky August tea that is mixed with sweet vermouth and Campari for a refreshing libation. Plans have also been announced to bring top mixologists from other cities in 2016 in an effort to help keep the Skyfall Lounge cocktail menu consistently fresh.
The next time you’re looking to grab drinks in Sin City, head over to The Delano’s Skyfall Lounge and soak in a luxurious rooftop experience while savoring creative cocktails from some of the brightest mixologists in town.
