Fundraisers, horses and films, oh my! It’s going to be a spectacular weekend here in Boston full of events designed to celebrate the best in healthcare, film, music and even horses. Here’s a look at some of the hautest events.

Opus opens in Boston tonight at the Shubert Theatre. The acrobatic performance includes a string quartet performing the music of Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich. In Opus, the magical performance features a combination of acrobatics, lyrical movement and group choreography.

Tomorrow night, the VNA of Boston is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the year at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel honoring President and CEO of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Edward J. Benz Jr., MD, Larry Jasinski, CEO of ReWalk Robotics, and Third Rock Ventures. The Heroes in Health Care Gala has raised $2 million in funding for VNA of Boston’s Maternal Child Health Program and Charitable Care Fund.

Animal lovers can attend Bina Farm’s fifth annual Horsing Around at the Ritz Gala. The Lexington farm is coming to the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common for just one night (tomorrow) to raise money for the farm’s enrichment programs, including equine-assisted activities and therapies, vocational training programs and creative and complementary therapies for children and adults with physical, developmental and emotional challenges.

California’s Remodelista is coming to Boston for just one weekend with a special fall “market” event at the Lekker showroom in the South End. Remodelista has been hosting pop-up markets since 2010 in San Francisco with expansion to Los Angeles, New York, London and now Boston. The weekend market will feature vendors like Coral & Tusk, Black Point Mercantile, outer Cape’s Salt Cellar Shop, Taylor Ceramics, Easthampton, The Maine Blanket’s antique loomed wool blankets, and rum tastings by 20 Boat of Truro. Chef/restaurateur Joanne Chang will also be on hand offering book signings.

Also being held tomorrow night is A Night of Film and Music to benefit Plimoth Plantation. Head over to WGBH’s studios for a live performance by Grammy Award-winning musician Rita Coolidge and enjoy a live auction and dinner to benefit Plimoth Plantation’s educational mission.
