Haute Scene NYC: Palm Beach Show Group Host Private Opening for the New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show

Last Friday, Palm Beach Show Group CEO Scott Diament welcomed more than 2,500 art enthusiasts to The New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show’s Private Opening Night Preview Party.

Event-goers had a rare opportunity to mix and mingle with the country’s leading designers including Campion Platt, Ellie Cullman, Alex Papachristidis and Geoffrey Bradfield, who all examined the two billion dollars worth of collectibles from 85 exhibitors from around the world. The show features a selection of high-quality treasures from ancient antiquities, through 21st century contemporary art, including furniture, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, silver, art, glass, enamels, photography, porcelain, pottery, objets de Vertu, rare books and manuscripts, rugs and tapestries, jewelry and more.There was also an intricately handcrafted “Interconnectivity” installation from five talented students from The New York School of Interior Design.

Following the installation, guests were ushered into the main hall to take in a rare Meiji period rotating pagoda by Wick Antiques. World-renowned exhibitors including Butchoff Antiques, M.S. Rau Antiques, Richard Green, Fitzgerald Fine Art, Jonathan Cooper, Berko Fine Paintings, Veronique Bamps and Suzanne Syz Art Jewels filled aisle after aisle with one-of-a-kind offerings. More than 30,000 items at the show span every genre, juxtaposing many periods and movements.

Notable attendees include esteemed tastemakers Jean Shafiroff, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Beth Shak, CeCe Black, Joanna Mastroianni, Robin Cofer and Dominic D’Alleva, among others.

Attendees had the opportunity to view and purchase fine art from across a broad spectrum of Old Masters, German Expressionist, 18^th and 19^th Century European, American Regionalist, Modern and Contemporary artists.

The show, which opened to the public through Tuesday, Nov. 24^th, is also slated to feature conversations and seminars from leaders from the New York School of Interior Design as well as three exclusive dining experiences including Le Cirque Brassiere.
