Yesterday’s New England Patriots win kicked off a great week here in Boston bringing their undefeated title to an impressive 9-0 record.
To continue celebrating the Patriots comeback win yesterday, show your thanks tonight at the Gratitude Gala to benefit the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. Held at Gillette Stadium’s Putnam Club, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet local celebrities and athletes while enjoying a three-course dinner. The event’s keynote speaker is Patriots Co-Captain and cancer survivor Nate Solder. Auction items will also be available.
Tomorrow night, entertainer Vanessa Williams will be in town to celebrate the We Are Boston Anniversary Gala being held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. The night of diversity highlights Boston’s diversity with a night of multi-cultural food, dance and music. A VIP anniversary reception is being held at 5:30 p.m. with a chance to meet the night’s honorees and special guests, including Boston Mayor Marty Walsh. An open wine bar, passed hors d’oeuvres and a gift bag are also included. General reception starts at 6 p.m. featuring a culinary dine around reception of some of Boston’s best restaurants.

On Wednesday night, Chef Dante de Magistris and his brothers Filippo and Damian are hosting a wine pairing dinner at il Casale Cucina Campana in Lexington to showcase some exclusive wine imports from their family’s hometown Candida in the Irpinia region of Campania. The wine dinner will showcase two selections from the de Magistris’ private label, Phoenix famiglia de Magsitris, which includes a 2014 Fiano di Avellino (which is a DOCG wine and “tre bicchieri” winner from the prestigious Gambero Rosso publication) and a 2014 Coda di Volpe. The other two selections will be a 2008 Taurasi, marziacanalae and a 2009 taurasi, santandrea which are both from Avellino, Campania.
Watch some brave folks strut their stuff on Thursday night at the Couture for Cancer benefit being held at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. The Friends of the Mass General Cancer Center are hosting their 23rd annual fall fashion benefit at 6 p.m. where Mass General caregivers and their patients will walk the runway to raise money for care services for cancer patients and their families.
