Haute 100 lister Jennifer Meyer is teaming up with one of our favorite luxury department stores to bring you a very haute capsule collection. According to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), the designer will create a 12-piece for fall ready-to-wear capsule collection, “Barneys New York XO Jennifer Meyer.”

The collection will be in honor of Meyer’s 10-year anniversary. In an interview with WWD, Meyer said, “Barneys first approached me about designing a clothing collection eight months ago and I think I said ‘Yes’ before they even finished asking me. Designing a clothing collection was a completely different experience for me. I started with my favorite things and mood boards. What are my go-to items? What feeling do I get when I wear them? I wanted to design clothes that I can live in. I learned to design clothing exactly how I learned to design jewelry: I just jumped in feet first.”

The collection will feature a California girl vibe that meets Paris. There will be staple items, known to Meyer’s designing aesthetic, such as classic jean jacket, cardigans, and a sundress. The collection ranges from a $150, starting price for a cotton T-shirt, to a $1,025 pink wool coat.

The collection is slated to be available mid-November.

Last month, Meyer’s joined Barneys New York on International Day of the Girl to empower young girls. The luxury department store devoted its windows to flagships and regional stores across the country to the issue. Barneys asked women to respond to answer the statement, “Anything is possible when…” at #GirlPossible. The department store received hundreds of submissions, including Meyers, Kelly Osbourne and Hannah Bronfman.

Meyer’s posted an image of her children holding up signs. Meyer’s son Otis’ sign read, “Anything is possible when you love,” while Meyer’s daughter Ruby’s sign read, “Anything is possible when you believe.”
