There’s certainly no shortage of places to grab a drink in Las Vegas, but unlike a lot of cities, some of the best spots aren’t the latest bars or nightclubs. In fact, you’ll find some of the finest libations and chic environments are located right in your hotel lobby. We’ve rounded up five of our favorite Sin City lobby bars for you to check out the next time you’re craving a good cocktail.
Vesper Bar at The Cosmopolitan
While The Cosmopolitan’s gigantic Chandelier Center Bar grabs all the attention, it’s the Vesper Bar in the downstairs lobby that’s truly the hidden gem of the hotel. The name is a cheeky nod to James Bond and when you visit it’s easy to see why you’ll be enveloped in opulent mirrored tiles that exude style, class and sophistication. The signature cocktails stem from timeless recipes and are served in a manor that would certainly be fitting of Mr. Bond.

The Franklin Lounge at The Delano
If you’re looking for a ultra-chic place to bring a date, this is one of our go-to spots in Las Vegas. The Franklin Lounge at The Delano Hotel has outstanding ambiance while serving up some delicious signature cocktails to go along with a robust selection of craft beers. Plus, this spot always has the best soundtrack, which gradually picks up in tempo throughout the night. There’s plenty of seating to be found and as a bonus, the swanky new Skyfall Lounge is just a short elevator ride up to the top of the hotel.

Bound by Salvatore at The Cromwell
This lobby bar exudes sophistication from the moment you step foot inside. It’s located right next to where you go to check-in, so after you’re done, you’re just steps away from really starting your Las Vegas experience off right. The mood lighting and gold and dark tones of the décor give Bound a warm yet intimate vibe. The circular bar is very stylish and you can even savor some world-class tastings from resident celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis. We highly recommend the decadent Lobster Benedict with your weekend Bloody Mary, but the bacon-wrapped dates or Arancini Tasting make for great compliments to a round of cocktails during happy hour too.

Center Bar at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
The Hard Rock’s iconic center bar recently got a massive, multi-million dollar remodel, with a slick new interior design that really ups the “wow” factor. As the Hard Rock Hotel helped introduce the center bar concept to the Las Vegas twenty years ago, they’ve stepped it up with a high-tech lighting concept that perfectly synchs to the music videos that play on the HD TVs that surround the bar. There’s also a tasty new cocktail menu to try, which features martinis, beer, wine and classic libations from employees who worked at the original center bar in 1995. Be sure to order the B-Train to Georgia, which comes with Ciroc peach vodka, Cointreau, orange juice, cranberry juice and a splash pineapple juice, which makes it the perfect day or night drink.

Petrossian Bar & Lounge at Bellagio
This is perhaps the most lavish lobby bar in Las Vegas. The Petrossian at the Bellagio Hotel has been named “one of America’s best bars” from top hospitality publications and mixologists. The European-inspired atmosphere oozes sophistication and class, providing the perfect setting for hotel guests to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea service, along with world-class cocktails. You can spend an entire evening here, as classically-trained pianists perform on the one-of-a-kind Steinway grand piano to set the perfect mood. Pretty much everything on the menu here is top-notch, but we are partial to the vodka sampler, especially when paired with some smoked salmon and caviar. Afterall, this is Vegas baby!
