Las Vegas has always been known for its big concert residencies, but the star-studded lineup that dominate the Strip right now could be considered one of the most celebrated in the history of Sin City! No matter what type of music you’re into, there’s something for everyone to see. However, when it comes to the biggest superstars putting on some truly eye-popping stage spectacles, these five picks are tough to beat.

Billed as an “Intimate Evening With Carlos Santana,” the iconic guitarist’s residency at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay generates incredible buzz whenever he announces his latest string of Sin City shows. The House of Blues is the perfect venue for this show and you’ll be treated to all Santana’s classic tunes like, “Black Magic Woman,” “Evil Ways,” and of course newer anthems like his ubiquitous No.1 hit, “Smooth.” We can assure you that Santana has never sounded better and you will leave this show feeling positively energized.

 Britney Spears at Planet Hollywood

Britney Spears

The pop superstar’s smash, “Piece of Me” residency at Planet Hollywood has been one of the hottest shows on the Strip since it opened. Spears has enjoyed herself so much that she has even extended her run for another two years. Expect to see lavish sets and dance numbers, plenty of daring costumes, but most importantly you’ll be treated to all her biggest hits, including “…Baby One More Time,” “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Toxic,” among many others. While the Planet Hollywood stadium seats over 4,000 people, it’s constructed in a way that still makes you feel like you’re getting up close and personal with Spears. Whether you’re longing for some pop nostalgia or just want to see a truly epic Las Vegas stage show, then “Pieces of Me” is a must.

When Caesars Palace announced that they were adding Grammy Award-winning singer, Mariah Carey, as a resident to its Colosseum shows in addition to the likes of Celine Dion and Elton John, it just felt like a match made in heaven. The multi-million dollar production is called “18 to Infinity” because it features all 18 of her chart-topping hits, performed live by Mariah and an extensive backing band. The “Vision of Love” and “Hero” diva can still belt out all those high-notes, so this is your chance to witness history at the Colosseum.

The undisputed King of Caesars Palace is of course, Sir Elton John. The “Rocket Man” has been captivating sold-out crowds at The Colosseum for years, each time reinventing his stage show and set list to keep it fresh. The current iteration is the “Million Dollar Piano” show, which just might be John’s best Sin City show to date. Hearing timeless songs like “Tiny Dancer,” “Crocodile Rock” and an especially epic, “Rocket Man” will literally send chills down your spine. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see John in concert before, this is absolutely the best place in the world to do so.

Donny & Marie at The Flamingo

Donnie & Marie

Donny and Marie have to be the hardest working brother and sister duo in show business. They’ve been packing houses at The Flamingo and racking up countless “Best of Vegas” awards since their residency started in 2008. Still one of the most popular shows in town, the talented duo span nearly five decades of hits and covers over 90 minutes. They are backed by an incredibly talented band and there are lots of costume changes and high-intensity dance numbers. While Donny and Marie might not be the newest names on the Strip, their stage show consistently ranks as one of the most talked about in the city and for good reason.
