It’s hard to get into the holiday spirit with bikinis still in your wardrobe and 80-degree weather, but these 5 Haute Miami Winter Wonderlands are sure to heat up your holiday!

1 Basement Skate at The Miami Beach EDITION

Right in the “heart of Miami Beach,” between South Beach and North Beach, you’ll find a 2,000 square-foot ice skating rink with high windows overlooking Collins Avenue and a state-of-the-art sound system that rivals some of Miami’s largest superclubs. Don’t believe us? The Miami Beach EDITION hotel is home to Basement Skate, one of the coolest spots to ever hit Miami. Skaters can channel their inner Michelle Kwan while groovin’ and glidin’ to the beat.

2 Drinkhouse Fire & Ice

Just minutes from the sand you’ll find Fire & Ice, Miami’s first Ice Vodka Bar and Experimental Cocktail Fire Lounge, a one-of-a-kind, exhilarating social experience. Award-winning master ice sculptor David Berman dedicated months and months to detailed carving work; transforming 100,000 pounds of ice and genuine crystals into the most mesmerizing ice cavern imaginable. Fire & Ice provides plush faux fur coats, gloves, and lined slippers to combat the 23-degree temperature you find inside of the bar. Play ice games & sip on premium vodka cocktails from genuine pristine ice glassware. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped right off of Collins Ave. and into your favorite snow globe.

3 Virtual Snow of Palm Beach

Virtual Snow brings the slopes to sunny South Florida. This ski and snowboard training company, originally founded by former World Class Freestyle Champion Bob Salerno, provides a safe, indoor environment. The same industry training protocols used by ski instructors on the mountain are utilized in this facility – allowing students to develop muscle memory and comfort in the movement patterns before hitting the slopes. A minimum of 5 sessions is recommended for a beginner skier and a minimum of 3 sessions is recommended for a beginner snowboarder.Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTriBEOi8bA#t=95

4 Ice Fountain and Acqualina Spa Resort

Inside Miami’s Acqualina Spa by ESPA you’ll find a very unique spa feature; the ice fountain. After warming up in the sauna or steam room, follow up your thermal experience by cooling off with ice. The interplay between heat and cold animates your blood circulation and creates a euphoric, mood boosting sensation. As you rub your heated body with handfuls of ice flakes, you can concentrate on cellulite prone areas, as increased circulation can help eliminate cellulite. This one-of-a-kind refreshing experience can also strengthen your immune and lymphatic systems, resulting in a multi-facetted luxury spa experience.
