You’ve been jetting off to London, to San Francisco, to New York — in fact so many places that they’ve become a blur of airports and business conferences. The last thing you want to do is spend hours in the kitchen creating Thanksgiving dinner for your family and friends but the idea of eating a dry turkey in a loud, crowded restaurant isn’t very appealing either. We’re happy to tell you that you don’t have to do either because we’ve scoped out the 5 best spots for Thanksgiving noshing in DFW. Comfortable dining rooms, stellar service, and the best food in Dallas are just waiting for you — and your reservation.
1 Meddlesome MothMeddlesome Moth
Meddlesome Moth is, as you might have guessed, a quirky spot with some of the most creative dishes in Dallas. They'll be serving brunch on Thanksgiving Day from 10 am to 3 pm. Reading the list of goodies made our mouths water - Traditional Turkey Plate consisting of turkey breast and leg, chestnut stuffing and gravy, cranberry sauce, roasted brussels sprouts and bacon, and pumpkin bread. This is probably the most casual spot on our list and, while reservations are recommended, walk-ups are welcome.

2 Fearing's in the Ritz-CarletonFearing's Restaurant
Fearing's will be serving a three course Thanksgiving meal from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm and again from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We've taken a sneak peek at the menu and it is everything you would expect from Chef Dean Fearing! The menu is filled with things like roasted butternut squash and ginger bisque, tangerine glazed turkey, and pumpkin gingerbread ice cream cake. There's lots more to choose from but make your reservations quickly.

3 The Mansion on Turtle CreekThe Mansion Restaurant
The Mansion's Thanksgiving meal will include an organic free range turkey with cornbread stuffing, filet mignon with smoked potatoes, as well as a variety of other main dish possibilities. It will finish with a dessert buffet that is so extensive we put on several pounds just reading it. We are extremely curious about the coffee and whiskey glass, and the quince hazelnut macaron sounds fantastic. This looks like one of those close your eyes and point type menus.

4 Cafe on the GreenCafe on the Green
Cafe on the Green at the Four Seasons Resort will be serving a Thanksgiving Day buffet -- we suggest the proverbial "fat pants" be tucked into your bag just in case they're needed. Where to being? At the carving station you'll find prime rib and Southern style baked turkey. There are salads and sides for every taste, a special kids section with all of their favorites, and a "Dessert Extravaganza" that includes no less than 22 desserts.

5 The Second FloorThe Second Floor Restaurant
The Second Floor Restaurant at the Westin Galleria will be serving a Thanksgiving Day brunch fro 11 am to 4 pm. Choose from rosemary grilled prime New York strip, roast turkey, or Scottish salmon from the carving station or from one of the many entrees. They've even prepared a vegetarian Thanksgiving lasagne with pumpkin for those of us who do not eat meat. Since they didn't think 13 different kinds of pie was enough they added a Marquis cake and macarons to the dessert table. It all looks delicious.
