Global Sensation En Blanc Returns to Miami for Second Straight Year

Le Dîner en BlancLe Dîner en Blanc, the innovative phenomenon is returning to Miami for the second straight year on Saturday November 14th, 2015. For this second edition, more than 2,000 cultural enthusiasts are expected to dine and celebrate at a new location. For those of you who haven’t heard of Dîner en Blanc, it is a posh picnic that launched in Paris over 25 years ago. Dîner en Blanc now occurs in outdoor public spaces on five continents, 25 countries and 60 cities per year.

The original essence of this chic affair remains: friendship, elegance, and gallantry. The event is romantic and entertaining, it’s basically an outdoor gourmet feast where guest indulge in fine meals amid live music, dance, and surprises. Dîner en Blanc takes the “pop-up” concept to new heights. When the event wraps-up (a very sad moment), guests pack their belongings and their debris, and head into the night without a trace of their elegant revelry.

The location will remain confidential until minutes before the feast to preserve spontaneity and secrecy. To ensure the location’s discretion until the last minute, guests meet at assigned departure points and Dîner en Blanc volunteers escort them to the top-secret location. Over 100,000 revelers around the world give this international event an exciting platform for participants to exhibit their fashion sense, showcase their fine taste for design and elegance, and share their gastronomic delights. Over 1,200 guests attended last year’s inaugural event held at Soundscape Park at the New World Symphony.
Le Dîner en Blanc Miami“If you were at the event last year, you know to circle this date! This event allows us to enjoy some of our most prestigious and iconic public spaces of the city with elegance and flair”, says Jillian Sanz, co-host of Le Dîner en Blanc – Miami. “For this new edition, we have once again searched the city high and low to find a venue that will ‘wow’ and render this night unique and magical as well as welcome more guests.”

It’s an event unlike any other, and so to maintain the uniqueness of Dîner en Blanc as well as staying true to tradition, guests must observe certain requirements and follow some key rules:
