5 New Eateries At The InterContinental London – The O2

You must know the O2. That big dome shaped building in East London that you can climb on top of and go to concerts inside of? Well now The InterContinental London – The O2 is giving you five new food options too. On top of which each new eatery is equipped with panoramic views of the Thames. That way you really have no reason to leave. With out further-to-do here’s a quick intro to the five new stars of The InterContinental London – The O2.

The Market Brasserie is quite literally that, a market. This new venue is taking London’s street markets, breweries and distilleries together into an interactive eating experience. Here you you’ll find fresh breads, cured meats, cheeses and many other tasty treats. Once you’ve selected your vice, watch it being cooked to your looking at The Market Brasserie’s open theatre kitchen.

Clipper Bar is the O2’s new venue for liquid libations. Enjoy afternoon teas, wines, draught beers and cocktails while you stare off onto the view of the Canary Wharf and River Thames. They also promote local British cuisine.

The Peninsula restaurant offers an elegant fine-dining option for customers. The 80-seat dining room has it’s own private dining space and is inspired by the spice trade that once was bustling at theses East London docks. Come here to enjoy modern European cuisine in an upscale venue.

Trendsetters will be seen at Eighteen Sky Bar. The InterContinental’s rooftop space on 18th floor will boast an entirely Oriental vibe. Their cocktail menu is infused with spice, herb and botanic offerings complemented by their sushi, sashimi and steamed buns menu. The whole place screams party; which is why it is also available for private hire and special events.

Lastly, on the ground floor you will find The Meridian Lounge. In this tranquil situation you can get some work done, enjoy a hot beverage or have a few small bites from their international menu. Spend your time indoors or share the sunshine on their 45-seat outdoor terrace.
