Following the success of Honey & Co’s, Stephen Terry’s and Maria Elia’s takeovers earlier this year, Salt Yard Group has invited renowned chef Vivek Singh to Ember Yard this Monday (28 September). Vivek, who specialises in modern Indian cuisine, will be taking over the grill and serving a selection of tapas-sized dishes chosen to suit the Ember Yard style of cooking over charcoal and wood.
Guests will be treated to dishes including Kerala spiced sea bream in banana leaf, coconut chutney, lemon rice, Tandoori spiced grilled chicken thighs, Rajasthani corn sauce and Chargrilled aubergine with sesame tamarind glaze and peanut crumble, garlic & ginger and lime raita.
Executive chef of three restaurants across London (The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho), author of five cookbooks and a regular face on both television and live cookery events across the country, Vivek Singh -a regular on Saturday Kitchen and Master Chef – is arguably one of the most inspiring Indian chefs of his generation.
