This Labor Day week in Boston is not short on haute happenings. Here are our picks on what not to miss:

The latest newcomer to the South End in luxury apartment buildings is Troy Boston. Located at 55 Traveler Street, the 19-story residence is hosting its grand opening celebration Wednesday night. Apartments here range from studios to two bedroom units and feature wood floors, stone countertops, custom cabinetry and closets as well as a common area rooftop terrace with barbecues, fire pits and a lounge with demonstration kitchen. There is even an outdoor swimming pool and cabana deck for soaking up the last few summer rays and an indoor on-site yoga and fitness studio with cardio and resistance equipment. The pet friendly building has even thought of your four legged friend with a special outdoor run area and dog wash section. Wednesday’s party will include bites and cocktails from one of Boston’s favorite chefs, Ming Tsai.

Ligne Roset, a French, family-run luxury furniture and lifestyle brand is hosting designer Remi Bouhaniche in their Boston showroom. Antoine Roset, vice president of Roset USA, will be accompanying Bouhaniche. They will be in town to discuss their new collaboration, working in a large, family-run business and using classic design influences to transform design for the modern consumer. On Wednesday night, they are hosting an exclusive cocktail party from 6 to 9 p.m. at 200 Boylston Street to showcase the US debut of Bouhaniche’s Toa armchair design following rave reviews at Maison et Objet in Paris.

Diner en BlancPhoto Credit: Diner en Blanc

On Thursday, September 10, Boston will participate in the Diner en Blanc event where more than 1,500 guests dressed head to toe in white, travelling with their own table, chairs, food and decorations, convene from different departure points throughout Boston to bring a posh pop-up picnic to life. The internationally acclaimed evening, which originated in Paris, will include champagne, light bites, a band and a DJ. The chic outdoor picnic is held in Boston’s public space at a location to be disclosed that day.

Back Bay Night OutPhoto Credit: Back Bay Night Out

The Back Bay Association hosts a Back Bay Night Out event on Thursday night. From champagne bubbles to beauty treatments, the night starts off at 4:30 p.m. and goes until 7:30 p.m. at 88 Exeter Street in Copley Square. The event will feature a wine tasting from Boston Winery, hair styling and a makeup bar by Camille Albane Salon and manicures by MiniLuxe. All proceeds will benefit The Women’s Lunch Place. Local salons, boutique shops and specialty stores will host events on Thursday to celebrate the specialty evening.
