On Saturday, Sept. 26th, an international celebration of family, community and faith dubbed the Festival of Families is slated to commence. The two-day festival, which will be attended by Pope Francis, will be hosted by actor and Haute 100 lister Mark Wahlberg.
Wahlberg will be joined by a number musical guests including Grammy Award winner Aretha Franklin, rock band The Fray, singer Marie Miller, queens of the disco era Sister Sledge and Italian classical singer Andrea Bocelli, to name few. The artists will perform along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, prior to the Festival of Families.
In addition, it was recently announced the festival will be broadcast lived via Haute 100 lister Jay-Z’s global music and entertainment platform, TIDAL. In a press release, Scott Mirkin, President of ESM Productions and Executive Producer of the Festival of Families, said, “We are delighted to partner with such an innovative and quality-driven company.
