London: Fendi Pops Up At Harrods

In 1925 Edoardo and Adele Fendi opened up a fur and leather shop in Via del Plebiscito, Rome. 90 years later, find Fendi’s latest pop-up location at London’s iconic department store Harrods.

As homage to Fendi’s new Roman headquarters, the pop-up store will be consistent with the aesthetic of Traces of Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana and will boast a true Italian theme. “Fendi has always had a fun side, but this initiative is particularly special as the inspiration for the space has come from our incredible new headquarters in Rome,” said Fendi’s chief executive officer Pietro Beccari to WWD. The Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana is an architectural marvel and Andrea Mancuso and Emilia Serra of Analogia Project design studio had the honor of replicating this look at Harrods.

You can expect some classic accessories from the fashion powerhouse, but special edition and interactive options as well. You will be able to design your own 3Baguette bag, and have your creation judged by Silvia Venturini Fendi herself. The winning designer will own a one of a kind 3Baguette bag, which has been specially made by Venturini Fendi in collaboration with Harrods. The price point on these different accessories widely varies. You can get leather cuff bracelets for $647 or you can get a crocodile Peekaboo bag for $33,722. It’s Fendi, what did you expect?

This is a one-off chance to get a truly unique selection of Fendi’s beautifully designed Italian accessories. It is an incredible demonstration of the intricacies that can only come out of a brand with over 90 years of experience. You don’t want to miss out on Fendi’s authentic Italian fashion at Harrods, and the pop-up will only run until August 30th.
