If you’re someone who feels the need for speed, you’re going to love a new driving package on offer at the La Quinta Resort in which pairs RPMs with luxe lodgings.
The package offers guests the chance to test drive three haute autos: the technological tour-de-force that is the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider, the McLaren MP4-12C and the Porsche GT3.
Auto enthusiasts will receive an introduction and tutorial about each vehicle by excursion leader Didier Theys, a professional racecar driver. They’ll then set out behind the wheels of said vehicles on a bespoke and breathtaking driving tour of the desert, rotating cars and drivers along the way.
The pre-arranged course will take guests through some of the region’s most inspirational environments, traversing porcelain palm-studded dunes and mirage-inducing straightaways followed by an elevated stint through the pines with technical switchbacks en route.
Guests can choose from three driving sessions per day, starting at 8:30 a.m. and culminating with a sunset return through the Anza-Borrego Desert followed by the ultimate cool down: a lap in one of La Quinta Resort’s 41 signature swimming pools.
The package also includes guestroom accommodations in a newly-renovated guest casita or suite and a two as well as the half hour Driving Experience for two. Round out the getaway with the ultimate pit stop: Spa La Quinta’s new High Performance Facial and Timeless Massage, which is certain to shift guests into cruise control with a top-flight dual service at the award-winning 23,000 sq., ft., sanctuary.
