When it’s summertime in the Magic City, all of Miami’s finest start chanting: “T.G.I.F.” And because there’s always so much going on in sunny South Florida, we’ve rounded up our favorite haute happenings to keep your weekend as hot as ever:

5:30 PM, Brickell: “Mix & Scratch” Happy Hour

New at 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar, the Viceroy Miami invites South Florida’s finest to indulge in a hot new happy hour. From 5:30 to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, “Mix & Scratch” will feature talented local DJs and $5 bites, signature cocktails, house wines, beers and prosecco. To really start your weekend off right, head there this Friday and pair the restaurant’s raved-about Korean BBQ pork sliders and Key West shrimp tacos with a refreshing Samba Du Brazil or Moonshine Over Biscayne cocktail — we promise you won’t regret it. 15th & Vine is located on the 15th floor of the Viceroy Miami, at 485 Brickell Avenue.

7:30 PM, Fort Lauderdale: “Once in a Blue Moon” Yoga Social

When graced with a blue moon, what better way to see it than at night, and right underneath it? This Friday, July 31st, W Fort Lauderdale and lululemon athletica invite haute yogis to experience a “Once in a Blue Moon” night of glow yoga flow, drinks and bites. Led by lululemon ambassador Crystal Gould, this one-of-a-kind party will happen poolside, at WET Deck, and feature live music, body art and complimentary glasses of Kombulicious’ tasty kombucha tea. The W Fort Lauderdale is located at 401 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. Tickets to this event, which can be purchased here, are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
