Haute 100 SF: Four Golden State Warriors Will Attend Team USA’s Minicamp

While NBA season may have come to a close, a number of your favorite basketball players will take part in Team USA’s minicamp in Las Vegas.

With the impending 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro just a year away, Team USA will be hosting a minicamp starting Aug. 11th through the 13th. There are a number of NBA’s top talent attending the three-day camp in hopes to be considered for the 12-man team next summer.

Of the San Francisco’s Golden State Warriors, there will be four players attending the minicamp. Led by NBA’s MVP Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, and Draymond Green will all take part in USA’s Basketball minicamp.

According to ESPN, there will be two days of non-contract workouts for the camp and an intrasaquad scrimmage on the last day.

In order to be considered for the 2016 Summer Olympics team, attending the minicamp is mandatory according to Jerry Colangelo, USA Basketball managing director.

Past Team USA players include LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Tyson Chandler, to name a few.
