Engel and Völkers Jupiter has sold one of the most sought after properties on Jupiter Island today for $38 million. Sold to Liberty Media Chairman, John Malone, the sale marks a new record high for a home both in Jupiter and Jupiter Island.
Located on the southernmost barrier island off the east coast of Florida, the 9.4-acre estate spans an exceptional 506 feet of the ocean and 513 feet of the Intracoastal Waterway–making it no surprise that it was the most sought after properties on the island.
According to Ken Meierling, License Partner and Broker of Engel & Völkers Jupiter, the property was marketed on its exclusivity, privacy, and tranquility, something Jupiter Island is famous for.
The main house sits at over 40 feet above sea level, the highest point on Jupiter Island, offering incredible panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean, expansive lush grounds with old Banyan trees and the Intracoastal Waterway.
The property features a guest house, putting green, par-three golf hole, private boat dock and a 3,144 ± sq. ft. beach house provides access to miles of unspoiled Jupiter Island beach.
Jupiter Island is a home to many well-known personalities from the worlds of business, sports and entertainment.
“Buyers of this caliber can live anywhere they choose. Their choice of this enclave speaks to what Jupiter and Jupiter Island have to offer,” said Meierling. “I expect to see as one person starts, others will follow and we will see more of these type of transactions,” he added on a final note.
