From arts and music to fitness and style, Boston was full of fun celebratory events this weekend. Here’s a look back at some of the hautest happenings.

The Museum of Fine Arts celebrated the opening of the John Singer Sargent Exhibit at MFA in the Edward and Nancy Roberts Family Gallery. The Yours Sincerely exhibit takes an inside look at the artist’s world through letters to Claude Monet celebrating his friendship with the French Impressionist, photographs, and paintings. The exhibit centered around several themes also features watercolors, prints, drawings, caricatures, correspondence, and photographs of his studios.

This weekend was also one of the most popular in town for music as it celebrated the Summer Arts Weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The al fresco concert in Copley Square featured a variety of musical artists, including classical, jazz, blues, folk, and Americana along with new arts, food and cultural programs. Sponsored by WGBH, The Boston Globe, and Citizens Bank, the weekend’s festivities included performances by Boston’s Handel + Hayden Society, Cape Breton musician Natalie MacMaster, American R&B singer Aaron Neville, the Merrimack Valley Chorus, and Grammy award winner Emmylou Harris.

Indochino officially opened its doors to the public at 85 Newbury Street this weekend (the fourth location in the United States). The Back Bay menswear boutique features hand tailored suits and custom shirts (including buttons, vents, pockets, lapels and monograms) that are created in Shanghai and delivered direct to your door. After a 10-minute measurement process that can be done at home (a Tailor’s Kit can be purchased that includes swatches, tape measure and a credit back for the purchase), the designs are custom measured to get the perfect fit and are delivered within three weeks. Once you receive the suit, if you require any alterations, you can simply send back to Indochino and they will give you $75 back for your adjustments.

Life Time Fitness in Westwood celebrated its first opening weekend of its massive 170,000 square foot facility.
