Bollywood singer Arijit Singh returned to Dubai over the weekend for a live show at Hard Rock Café. Some have called it “the biggest concert of summer 2015,” according to an article in The National. The last time Singh performed in Dubai was in January, but in just a few months’ time, he has already released many chart-topping songs, including “Chunar from the movie ABCD 2; “Hamari Adhuri Kahani,” which was from the movie of the same name; “Teri Khushboo,” which was featured in the film Mr. X; and “Sorooj Dooba Hai” from the film Roy, Judaai.

The Hard Rock Café offered a unique venue because its comparatively small size and intimate setting, putting fans in rather close quarters with a star whose last Dubai performance was at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

His last standup show was entitled “Showtime,” and more than 640,000 people in several countries went to see him at multiple sold out shows. The last time he performed in Dubai was in June 2013, and that show won him the Best Comedy Show award from Time Out Nightlife. McIntyre’s last show marked the world’s biggest-selling comedy tour. His show at the O2 Arena in London set a new record of 10 nights of performances.
