It’s Father’s Day this Sunday, June 21, and if you’re wondering where to make a reservation, we’ve got you covered. Here are the top five places to celebrate your doting dad in San Francisco.

1 Presidio Social Club

Big Poppy love juicy piggy? Head to Presidio Social Club’s 8th annual Father’s Day pig roast. PSC is offering up a price-fix with a whole roasted pig smothered in the chef’s signature warm spices, pupu platters, and sides of rice and vegetables. There’s also a butter lettuce salad to start and classic pineapple upside down cake for dessert. The party starts at 4pm and we recommend you come thirsty as the bartenders will be shaking up mai tais for you to toast dad with. Don’t forget to remind him to wear his favorite Hawaiian shirt!

2 Epic Steak

Epic Steak, the beloved Embarcadero restaurant that is frequented by the SF Giants’ players, is inviting you to get a sitter, leave the kids at home, and celebrate dad with a scrumptious meal for two. Chef Parke Ulrich’s Epic Meal for Two features a 32-ounce tomahawk rib steak and a two-pound Maine lobster. When paired with Epic’s Julia Child-inspired potatoes and classic steakhouse-style creamed spinach, it’s the ultimate surf and turf experience.

3 Bobo’s Lounge

Did you know that Bobo’s Steakhouse has a smaller, quieter, equally as delicious little sister lounge? Father’s Day is the perfect excuse to grab a seat at Bobo’s Lounge, the delightful restaurant that serves food until 1 am in an old-school classic Italian atmosphere. There’s leather tufted booths, red Murano chandeliers, a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere and fun, friendly staff. On Sunday, all pops will receive a complimentary Papa Quivari cocktail that’s made with Buffalo Trace whiskey, sweet vermouth, fernet, Bénédictine, and bitters. The whole-cooked fried sea bass with seaweed and pot sticker sauce is a must order.

4 Osso Steakhouse

For an outstanding steak dinner that grandpa can enjoy with generations of his family, Osso Steakhouse is your best bet. The Nob Hill art deco gem is great for larger groups and on Sunday why not head out for a martini and filet mignon? There’s also oysters, caviar, crab fondue, and abalone, so you can really enjoy a luxurious and comforting meal in honor of dad.

5 Plank

East Bay dad’s should head to Plank in Jack London Square for their Celebrate Your Dad event. The day party runs from 12 pm to 5 pm at the 50,000-square foot entertainment venue that has an extensive beer garden and bowling lanes. A reggae band will be playing mellow tunes and the chef will be working the grill. On the menu: their signature Oakland dogs, beer brats, honey lemon chicken, hoisin barbecue pork ribs, and burgers. Plank also has 50 craft beers on tap and bocce ball courts, so it’s sure to be a happening place come Sunday.
