Chef Michael Schwartz has collaborated with CEO and Chairman of the Related Group, Jorge Perez, to create a stunning, new waterfront restaurant called Paraiso Bay Beach Club. The restaurant will be located in the Paraiso Community, one of The Related Group’s latest and most anticipated projects. Once completed, Paraiso will be a private community in the prime East Edgewater neighborhood consisting of four bay front towers with interiors designed by Piero Lissoni, Karim Rashid, and Keith Hobbs. We’re certain the restaurant is one of the many reasons why mega star DJ, David Guetta is calling his new home at Paraiso Bay a true piece of paradise.
The collaboration is still in the early stages, as the estimated completion date for the restaurant will be all the way in 2017. However, renderings were recently unveiled by Meyer Davis Studio, a New York City-based design boutique, which was tasked to create the two-story restaurant and beach club. This is not the first Related project Meyer Davis has taken on. Related and Davis were both involved with W Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Residences and Auberge Beach Residences in Fort Lauderdale. The renderings were displayed during a brunch presentation at Paraiso Bay’s sales gallery catered by Schwartz himself, who gave a little teaser of what guest should expect at his high-end, yet casual work-in-progress.
Swiss landscape architect Enzo Enea and Arquitectonica, global architecture firm are working together on the restaurant’s aesthetic to create a cohesive indoor and outdoor space. The renderings and early sketches by Meyer Davis Studio reveal an elegant restaurant featuring white walls, wooden trusses, concrete tile floors, leather chairs, indoor potted trees, and marble bars, complete with a breathtaking backdrop of Biscayne Bay.
