Last week, Dubai-based designer Ingie Chalhoub hosted her “Trip Through a Comic Strip” INGIE Paris Fall/Winter15 Collection
at SPM Gallery at Al Serkal Avenue in Al Quoz in the presence of esteemed guest and top media.
Models walked down the runway at SPM Gallery in Alserkal Avenue wearing the Ingie’s chic and feminine Fall/Winter 2015 collection, which took as its primary influence silhouettes inspired by the colorful and playful prints of the sixties and seventies. Stunning ball gowns, kaftan-like dresses and peplum skirts were laden with a joyful ensemble of graffiti prints and optical illusion designs. What’s more is that the new collection effortlessly presented a mix of urban chic daywear and evening wear pieces.
“It is always very emotional for me to present my collection in Dubai where INGIE PARIS was launched in 2009,” said Ingie Chalhoub during the event. Over the past several years, Ingie has incorporated a variety of cultural and artistic influences into her brand. As the latest collection demonstrates, Ingie Paris is a fashion label that bridges the cultural sensitivities of the Middle East with the avant-garde stylistic tendencies of the international fashion market.
Ingie Paris is available at Etoile “la boutique” stores throughout the UAE and Kuwait. www.ingieparis.com
