It seems like fashion designer Calvin Klein may intend on spending more time in the southern California area.
On Tuesday, Klein officially sealed the deal on a contemporary five-bedroom home in Hollywood Hills. The plush property is 9,300 square feet and features a bridge over a waterfall and a reflecting pool at the entryway of the house, an eight-car garage, a screening room and a temperature-controlled wine room. It also has automated retractable floor-to-wall glass walls that open to a beautiful green lawn, infinity pool and a picturesque view of downtown Los Angeles, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The home was designed by esteemed L.A. architect Paul McClean, who designs environmentally sustainable homes in Laguna Beach and L.A as well as design homes with an interest in modern living and a desire to connect clients to the surrounding natural environment.
The home was listed by Tyrone McKillen and Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland, a boutique real estate firm located in Beverly Hills. Klein was represented by Jeff Kohl of the Agency.
The 72-year-old New York native also has a property in Manhattan, Southampton, and he recently listed his Miami Beach mansion for $16 million.
