Daisy Lowe Named London Fashion Weekend Ambassador

British model Daisy Lowe, daughter of fashion designer Pearl Lowe and an integral feature of the London fashion scene, has been named as the first ambassador of London Fashion Weekend.

With curated shopping from over 150 brands, as well as industry talks, presentations and catwalk shows from renowned designers, London Fashion Weekend has come to be known in the capital as London Fashion Week’s little sister. This year, the event will take place from 24 – 27 September at the Saatchi Gallery, Kings Road, London, following the announcement earlier this year that London Fashion Week was to be moving away from its traditional setting on the bank of the Thames, Somerset House.

“Daisy is a fantastic ambassador of British fashion. We have worked with her for many years and are delighted that she is joining the London Fashion Weekend team. This season is set to be both unmissable and unforgettable with names including Peter Pilotto, House of Holland, Natalie Massenet and Anya Hindmarch already on the line-up,” said Caroline Rush, CBE, Chief Executive British Fashion Council. Lowe herself added that she is “thrilled to be an ambassador for London Fashion Weekend, having worked with Caroline and the British Fashion Council over the years. London Fashion Weekend is such an amazing concept, giving people an opportunity to immerse themselves in the fashion world and encouraging visitors to get behind the UK’s incredible fashion industry and its designers.”

Lowe will now have the chance to represent and promote the event in the run up to fashion week, which hits global locales this September for the forthcoming season. Tickets for London Fashion Weekend are already on sale and can be bought by clicking here.
