Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation Launches ‘The Art of the Emirates’

Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation has launched new art publication ‘The Art of the Emirates’, a work that explores the creativity, vision and heritage behind Emirati fine art. Sponsored by Waha Capital, the publication profiles artists, galleries, foundations and universities, presenting an inspiring snapshot of national artistic expression across the UAE.

Launched under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Culture, Youth & Community Development, Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF), The Art of the Emirates is the first volume of its kind. Highlighting leading figures helping to shape the Emirati visual arts and culture sector, the book profiles Emirati artists, galleries, foundations and universities. It also goes behind the scenes to explore the motivation, passion and vision of some of the UAE’s leading arts protagonists. Filled with in-depth interviews, studio portraits and artworks, this groundbreaking, luxury publication offers insights into the career paths and practice of a diverse range of artists from across the UAE, including: Mohammed Ahmed Ibrahim, Mohammed Kazem, Karima Al Shomaly, Lamya Gargash, Azza Al Qubaisi and Jalal Luqman.
