There are restaurants to go in Boston for your average night out on the town, but there are only a few that stand out for a power dinner – impressive places to go to seal a business deal. Here are our picks for the Top 5 restaurants in Boston for a power dinner where reservations are recommended.

1 The Palm

The Palm
The Palm Boston is known for its serious steaks and attentive wait staff in the Financial District so it is no wonder they recently introduced a special Power Dinner menu here. The three-course menu is available nightly here. Reserve a table in the main dining room with beautiful cathedral ceilings and caricature-lined walls of Boston’s most famous faces or on the outside patio overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Start off with a choice of beer steamed Prince Edward Island mussels, a classic Caesar, mixed green or shredded kale salad before moving onto veal Malfata, jumbo lump crab cakes or pan seared Atlantic salmon. Our favorite entrée is the juicy nine ounce filet mignon topped with Nova Scotia lobster Oscar (butter poached lobster in a rich béarnaise sauce) served with a side of fresh asparagus. Finish off the three-course dinner with a tasting of delicious salted caramel vanilla crunch cake or decadent flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. If you choose to dine off the regular menu, the bone-in filet with a side of three-cheese au gratin and mussels will surely seal the deal.

The signature favorite here is the Bristol burger topped with house made pickles, aged cheddar served on a brioche roll with side of golden truffle parmesan fries.
