Thanks to Tequila Avion, you can sip fine spirits and cure your wanderlust at the same time. The haute tequila brand is offering a group of ten people the chance to board a Gulfstream private jet and take what is being called the most expensive tasting flight in the world. The experience costs a whopping $500,000 per group, but it seems to be worth every penny.

Before the plane leaves the tarmac, guests of the tasting flight are treated to an exclusive dinner at the actual residence of master distiller Alejandro Lopez, which is prepared by chef Josh Capon of New York City’s El Toro Blanco.

During the flight, guests will get to sip a variety of top shelf tequilas while a professional photographer snaps every memorable moment. Once the plane reaches Mexico, the group will take a private tour of Tequila Avion’s distillery in the south-western state of Jalisco with company founder Ken Austin.

The trip includes a three day, two night stay at the five star Las Alamandas resort, equipped with a private butler and security detail. Making the experience even richer, guests will depart the country with exclusive bottles of tequila from Austin’s personal collection. Finally, guests will also be given the chance to age their own private small batch of anejo tequila for two years.

“As an ultra-premium tequila brand, Avion aims to constantly challenge standards of quality and luxury,” says Austin. “This exclusive travel package exemplifies our mission to create sought after products and once-in-a-lifetime experiences while celebrating the Avion liquid, which is at the core of everything we do.”
