KELLY WEARSTLER CELEBRATES THE LAUNCH OF REGIME DES FLEURS

Regime des Fleurs founders Alia Raza and Ezra Woods along with a gathering of tastemakers joined designer Kelly Wearstler for the fabulously floral evening full of fragrance, Perrier-Jouët champagne and Compartés chocolates on Wednesday evening.  Orchid flowers strewn around the floor of the bejeweled entranceway of the West Hollywood boutique led guests including Melanie Griffith, designers Clare Vivier and Magda BerlinerJohnson Hartig (Libertine) and Jonathan Grahm (Compartés), inside to experience the handcrafted perfumes to the sounds of DJ Voomz.

WESTIME’S ANNUAL CHARITY POKER TOURNAMENT

The third annual Westime Charity Poker Tournament raised more than $1 million in support of the national After-School All-Stars (ASAS) charity on April 25th. The charity, which provides afterschool programs for underserved youth, held the event at the home of founder Arnold Schwarzenegger, and was hosted by the former California governor as well as Westime CEO John Simonian. Throughout the evening, the guests, who included Don Cheadle, Joe Manganiello, Annie Duke and Patrick Schwarzenegger, enjoyed an ever-changing lineup of entertainment—from wine and spirit tastings, to casino-style games, to live and silent auctions. By night’s end, guests had generously donated $1,002,850 for the ASAS cause.

 

KELLY SLATER LAUNCHES CAPSULE COLLECTION FOR PBTEEN

On Thursday night,  actress and singer, Victoria Justice joined world champion surfer, Kelly Slater to celebrate the launch of the Kelly Slater for PBteen collaboration at the World Surf League Headquarters in Santa Monica. Debuting the brand’s most eco-friendly collection, Slater helped introduce the 40-piece capsule collection that includes furniture built with FSC-certified wood, rugs made with recycled fibers and bedding composed of certified 100% organic cotton. The space showcased three different vignettes, demonstrating PBteen’s fresh and authentic designs with Slater’s commitment to global conservation, and the combined desire to reduce environmental impact.

Crystal Lourd and Jacqui Getty hosted a private dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles to welcome NET-A-Porter Vice President of Global Buying, Sarah Rutson. The intimate dinner of 40 fashion notables  included guests Lupe Puerta, Eric Buterbaugh, Ross Cassidy, Alexandra von Furstenburg, Balthazar Getty, Rosetta Getty, Mary Alice Haney, Monique Lhullier, Jennifer Meyer, Erica Pelosini, Shiva Rose and Rachel Zoe.

THE SAMSUNG STUDIO LAUNCHES IN LA

On Wednesday evening, in honor of the grand opening of The Samsung Studio LA, Samsung Electronics hosted an exclusive opening event with Hollywood’s brightest stars.  Located across from the Grove, the Samsung Studio LA launch event attendees included Chrissy TeigenJohn Legend, Cat Deeley, Maggie Grace,  Michael B. JordanJaime King, James Marsden, Emily Ratajkowski, Joe Jonas, Miles TellerIan Ziering and more, who danced the night away to DJ Kiss and DJ MOS while checking out the latest Samsung devices including the Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge.  After the two DJ sets, Recording Artist Brandon Flowers (of the Killers), took stage to perform an exclusive set of some fan favorites including “Mr. Brightside,” “Crossfire,” and “Only the Young,” as well as a cover of “Simply Irresistible.”

On Thursday evening, World of Children Award, an organization dedicated to setting the gold standard in child advocacy, hosted its inaugural 2015 Alumni Honors event emceed by Brooke Burke-Charvet at Il Cielo in Beverly Hills.  Attendees at the sold-out benefit included emcee Brooke Burke-Charvet, Brian Grazer (Honorary Chair / Executive Producer, Empire) along with fiancée Veronica Smiley (Honorary Chair), Michael York, Adam ShulmanHeidi Nahser Fink, Kay Isaacson-Leibowitz and Harry Leibowitz.
