On 12 May, honorary guests Carolina Herrera and her daughter Carolina Herrera de Baez celebrated the launch of HERRERA CONFIDENTIAL, the most exclusive collection of perfumes from the House of Herrera in Dubai.
The exclusive collection consists of six fragrances (Herrera Tuberose, Burning Rose, Neroli Boheme, Nightfall Patchouli, Amber Desire and Oud Couture) and four essential oils (Rose, Sandalwood, Musk and Oud), to be used individually or to be mixed with each other and create a personalized fragrance. The bottle is made of the world’s finest glass, and stamped with the initials of the House of Herrera.
Guests arrived at the One and Only Royal Mirage ballroom and were transported away from Dubai and into Carolina Herrera New York. VIPs, including Anthony Chalhoub, Annabella Hilal and Dominique Hourani, attended the event along with many of the region’s major fashion influencers. Attendees were led to the six confidence rooms which translated the inspiration behind each fragrance and displayed a dress designed exclusively for the collection by Carolina Herrera that was also inspired by the color and structure of each bottle.
The experimental area gave guests the chance to learn more about the art of layering and creating one’s own fragrance by discussing their preferences with the international perfumers Rodrigo Flores, Elizabeth Vidal and Pierre Gueros who worked hand in hand with Creative Director of fragrances Carolina Herrera de Baez.
The HERRERA CONFIDENTIAL Collection is available at Paris Gallery Dubai Mall and Sephora Mall of the Emirates. The retail price for the 100 ML fragrance is AED 990 and 15 ML oil is AED 1,600. Further retailers in the region are Wojooh and Debenhams but only in selected stores, soon to be launched in Harvey Nichols in Kuwait and selected Paris Gallery and Salam stores in Qatar and Oman.
