A Rave Review for Ramusake

The iconic venue of 92B Old Brompton Road offers its newest incarnation, Ramusake, South Kensington, a membership-led late night dining, cocktail and dancing venue. Owned and spearheaded by nightlife supremo Piers Adam, Ramusake marries ‘hipster Japanese’ food with a New York underground speakeasy vibe – and pulls it off. Although nestled deep within Kensington and Chelsea, Ramusake is all about urban cool, something that’s often hard to find in this part of town.

A destination for foodies, Ramusake’s contemporary Japanese fusion dishes have been created for sharing over cocktails, with signature dishes including; melt-in-the-mouth grilled Japanese Wagyu Steak, crunchy Tuna Sushi and an indulgent section of the menu offering a superb Sashimi Pizza and the cult Chicken Kara-Age Sliders that give the Colonel a run for his money. Indeed, we were blown away by the quality of the yellow tail sashimi, went wild for the wagyu and fell in love with a bottle of sparkling sake that didn’t touch the sides – Martinis were top-notch too.
