On the occasion of the event, the Italian Trade Agency, through its Dubai Office, Trade Promotion Office of the Italian Embassy, and in cooperation with the exhibition organizers (Fiera di Vicenza and DWTC which created a Joint venture – DV Global Link) organized the “I Love it” Pavilion, dedicated to Italian fine jewelry exhibiting the merchandise of 24 companies. The other sections of the fair include Gemstones & Diamonds, Global Brands and Packaging & Supply, for a total of more than 150 Italian exhibitors.

The exhibitors emanate from some of the most renowned Italian jewelry districts, including Vicenza, Valenza, Arezzo and the Campania Region. There their core business is the creation of high quality products using precious stones and natural gems through traditional techniques.

Referring to the Middle East, Ferdinando Fiore, Italian Trade Commissioner notes, “In this region, people are looking for unique pieces, made with high quality materials, refined techniques, precious and one of a kind stones. This is exactly what Italian jewelry represents.”

Also taking place during the exhibition is The Italian Beauty, an exhibit dedicated to the celebration of Italian jewelry and their craftsmanship, at the Conrad Hilton Hotel in Dubai on April 23 and 24. The exhibition will offer a selection of extraordinary pieces from The Beauty Room of The Jewelry Museum in Vicenza, an exclusive room entirely dedicated to some of the most eminent Italian jewelry brands.

The event supports the establishment and growth of Italian and UAE trade relations.

The value of our tradition also reflects on the trade figures, as the UAE are the first market destination of Italian jewellery products. On a yearly basis, more than 1,203 billion euros are exported from Italy to the UAE, which is 19 percent of the total exports for the Italian jewelry sector. The other main import markets are Switzerland (18%), Hong Kong (10%), the USA (8,8%) and France (7%).

This is a chance to get a taste of Italy through some of its most dazzling and daring gemstone creations in Dubai.

Vicenzaoro Dubai takes place until 26 April 2015, from10 am – 7 pm at Dubai World Trade Centre, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1-3 and Trade Centre Arena.
