On 15 April, Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen celebrated the anniversary of its first boutique in Bahrain’s Moda Mall, together with its partner, Asia Jewellers. Special guests at the event were IWC brand ambassador and MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula OneTM Team driver Nico Rosberg as well as Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport, Toto Wolf.
Located in the heart of Manama, Moda Mall is the perfect fit for IWC Schaffhausen’s boutique, which just celebrated its first anniversary. Karoline Huber, Brand Director IWC Schaffhausen Middle East and India, said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating this occasion together with our dear partner Asia Jewellers and our brand ambassador Nico Rosberg. Our aim is to offer our clients and watch collectors unique, memorable experiences and allow them to truly dis cover the universe of IWC Schaffhausen.” Speaking about the occasion, the CEO of Asia Jewellers, Mr Mohammed Jaffar, added: “We are extremely pleased and honoured to be associated with IWC. To mark the boutique’s anniversary, MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula OneTM Team driver Nico Rosberg was in attendance as guest of honour. Talking about his visit, he said: “I am delighted to be part of this IWC event in Manama. It’s always a pleasure to visit IWC boutiques around the world and be part of this family.” During the boutique event, Nico Rosberg and Toto Wolff, Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport, entertained the guests in a Q&A session with FORMULA ONE commentator Firas Nimri. Afterwards, they attended a private dinner with a select number of Bahraini IWC watch collectors, who enjoyed an adrenalinefilled evening racing against the two MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS representatives on a Carrera race track.
