San Francisco continues to rack up style points. The latest come courtesy NET-A-PORTER, which alongside Katie and Todd Trania, hosted a stylish cocktail party at the Traina’s Pacific Heights home on April 24 to celebrate the San Francisco Film Festival Awards, which take place tonight [April 27]. Haute Living was on the scene, along with more than 70 very fashion-conscious guests.
Attendees included Sarah Rutson, Lupe Puerta, Katie Traina, Todd Traina, Heidi Castelein, Noah Cowan, Ryan Phillippe and girlfriend Paulina Slagter, Breckin Meyer and Floriana Lima, Trevor Traina, Victoria and Phillip Raiser, Allison Speer, Sobia Shaikh, Nadir Skaih, Nina Zinterhofer Stanford, Roberta Economidis and Sarah Somberg.
Guests mingled in the living room and in the very Mad Men-esque bar. Todd did a no-no when he stood on the couch with his shoes on to speak but wife Katie really didn’t mind considering the occasion. Todd, a film producer and board member of the San Francisco Film Society, which puts on the Festival, spoke to the crowd, thanked NET-A-PORTER for its support and introduced Rutson, the womenswear e-tailer’s new vice president of global buying.
Net-a-Porter- has partnered with the San Francisco Film Festival for the first time this year as an opportunity to align the entertainment, technology, and fashion worlds in our influential city.
“We are honored to partner with the San Francisco Film Society, and so thankful to Katie and Todd Traina for welcoming us into their home on Friday evening to celebrate the Awards,” Rutson says. “San Francisco is such an important market for us in the U.S., on the brink of the technology, entertainment and fashion worlds. “It feels like it’s a really great fit for us to have NET-A-PORTER sponsor our gala and be the major underwriter of our Film Society Awards Gala because the gala is our flagship event during the festival. It’s a perfect way to bring together actors, the tech community, fashionistas, style makers and luminaries and have it all done with the blessing and support of NET-A-PORTER. It’s not only a tremendous honor but hopefully foreshadowing of things to come.”
