Sean “Diddy” Combs is honoring his late friend, The Notorious B.I.G. Biggie Smalls, on the 18th anniversary of Smalls’s murder. Combs is encouraging fans to cover the tribute song “I’ll Be Missing You” that came out in 1997. Biggie was shot on March 9 of 1997, and his music has influenced legions of fans. He is often thought of as the greatest MC of all time. Combs posted a photo of his friend on Instagram with the caption, “18 years ago today, we lost one of my best friends in the greatest rapper of all time the B I G.”

Miami Mayor Phillip Levine recently appeared on CNBC to talk about Miami’s centennial year and the exciting transformations of the city. Levine said that Miami has never been more exciting and that people from all over the world are traveling to the city like never previously. What does he credit with the tourism boost? Dwyane Wade has had a tough season: with a record of 28-35 the Miami Heat’s chances of making the playoffs look slim. Unsurprisingly, Wade has called this season the toughest he’s ever had concerning his leadership role. With a bevvy of young and inexperienced players on the squad, he’s had difficulty getting his teammates to fall in line, so to speak.

“What hasn’t been tough about it?” Wade asked. “You know what we’ve been dealing with. Bringing in new guys and guys from the D-League, they look to you. These guys look to me a lot. Eyes are looking at you, see what you’re going to do, what you’re going to say in a certain moment. You’ve got to give guys the right confidence.”
