The Paper Mil Playhouse has announced its 2015 to 2016 season and it features some celebrity collaborators; namely, Robert DeNiro will be taking reigns in the director chair for the musical version of A Bronx Tale based on Chazz Pilmenteri’s one-man show of the same name. This isn’t the first time that DeNiro has helmed a version of the show. The 1993 film A Bronx Tale was a cinematic recreation of the events for the show and was DeNiro’s directorial debut. It starred Lillo Bracanto, Jr (who has since been imprisoned for first-degree robbery following a botched robbery, he was released on parole in 2013) as the main character, DeNiro as his father and the writer Pilmenteri as the mob boss who acts as a secondary father to the protagonist.

The film has become a cult hit of sorts, and we are excited to see what DeNiro does with the source material applied to a musical format. The production will begin in February 2016.

Apparently, Harvey Weinstein’s Pre-Oscars Party was just as much a billionaires’ ball as it was a gathering of the stars: Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Google’s Eric Schmidt were all caught mingling at the event. It’s comforting to know that even the world’s most powerful and richest people still get star struck when they see their favorite actors. We really are all human after all. Thank you for showing us that, Harvey.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour got caught playing hookie from London Fashion Week to soak in the glamour of the Academy Awards. At the event itself Wintour sat next to her daughter, Bee Shaffer, as well as Harvey Weinstein and his wife and Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. Proving that she can literally do anything and still be awesome, Wintour didn’t remove her uniform sunglasses throughout the entire event. That puts her in a league with Jack Nicholson as the only people that can rock shade at the Oscars and totally get away with it.
