PISTE Returns To Archer Street

This season, the bespoke après-ski bar Piste is returning to Archer Street. Transporting guests from the busy streets of Soho, to a tongue-in-cheek and beautifully designed winter escape, Archer Street’’s downstairs bar will be turned into a warm and elegant ski lodge, inspired by Scandinavian mountain cabins and Swiss chalets. Skilfully decorated with reindeer fur, vintage skis, and even Piste’s’ own roaring fire, guests can sit back and relax in one the comfortable lounges, as they enjoy stunning views over the Italian Alps, through one of Archer Street’’s custom-made ‘windows’.

A dedicated cocktail menu will offer creations such as the King Of The Alps made with Tanqueray gin, blended with King ginger liqueur, fresh lime, apple juice and a whole pear and mixed with cinnamon and maple syrup, or the festive Glow Plough – Grey Goose shaken with homemade mulled port syrup, fresh lime, cranberry juice, egg white and finished with a floating glow stick, all professionally created by the talented bar team and inspired by the finest Christmas ingredients.

Archer Street in Soho is one of the more sophisticated pockets of Soho, being a spacious and elegant bar set over two floors with a 440-person capacity. The on trend ‘shabby chic’ décor has been expertly put together by the owner’s, with the upstairs bar featuring large French windows, distressed wood panelling, plush velvet stools and armchairs, and silver-topped tables dressed with candles, and fresh flowers, creating a sultry atmosphere as evening falls. The downstairs bar changes every six months and have previously played host to successful pop-ups such as the polo-inspired bar Chukka, and this summer’s Brazilian themed, Barzinho.
