Ever wonder what the most powerful leaders, business execs and celebrities keep on their desks? Well, we’re about to tell you. Our “What’s on My Desk” feature takes a look inside the offices and at the desks of the world’s most influential power players.

This week’s desk belongs to David Lee, the chairman and CEO of the California based Hing Wa Lee Group, one of the largest independent luxury watch retailers in the United States and the number one Rolex independent retailer in the US since 1995; it also develops commercial properties in both California and Hong Kong. Lee serves on the board of the USC Marshall School of Business, where he still lectures frequently, and also served on the Governor’s Small Business Reform Task Force of State of California. He is a noted Ferrari collector who also collects timepieces, Ducati motorcycles, guitars and wines. Now, let’s take a look at some of the items on David Lee’s desk, shall we?

  • The Green Book is “How to Carve Jade & Gems” written by my late father Hing Wa Lee who was master gem carver and my inspiration.
  • The Scroll Pen in the Box was given to me as a Widney Society member for my support of my alma mater USC.
  • The Red Metal cover Ferrari book was given to me by Jerome Lambert, CEO of Mont Blanc and reflects my passion for these amazing cars.
