Chris Bosh Launches New Menswear Line, “Mr. Nice Tie”

Things are looking on the up and up for Chris Bosh, who, after loosing the NBA championship, resigned with the Miami Heat for a 5-year, $118 million contract. Now he’s launching a menswear line called, fittingly, Mr. Nice Tie. Chris Bosh serves as creative director for Mr. Nice Tie, which delivered a carefully curated collection of five straight neck ties and five bow ties. Bosh helped design the first collection, which mixes classic patterns and colors with contemporary flash. “I wanted to make sure it was something that actually works for me, and is something that I’ll always be into. And I’m very into it. It’s turning into a passion.”

Sean Wolfington Hosts Private Screening for Little Boy

Alejandro Sanz and Cesar Conde hosted a private screening of “Little Boy,” a new film about a 7-year old boy who is willing to do whatever it takes to end World War II so he can bring his father home. The film was written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde and the producers include Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, Eduardo Verastegui, Emilio Azcarraga and Sean Wolfington, a serial entrepreneur who owns companies in the film and technology industry. Little Boy’s private screenings have been for influencers and tastemakers like Tony Bennett, Karolina Korkova, Paulina Rubio, Eva Longoria, Pepe Baston, Maria Kennedy Shriver, Anthony Shiver among others. The film will be out in theaters nationwide February 27th through Open Road.

Heat Fans Await Ray Allen’s Decision

Will Ray Allen stay with the Miami Heat? Right now all eyes are on Allen as he is courted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Sprurs. It is truly a case of life imitating art, as the wait for his decision mirrors that of Jesus Shuttlesworth, the famous character he played in Spike Lee’s 1998 film, He Got Game. Basketball fans in Miami and around the nation are waiting with bated breath to see if he stays with The Heat, moves to another team, or opts to retire altogether and spend more time with his kids.

Sara Colombo and Ladies of the House at Artefacto Design House

The Haute 100’s first ladies of development were tapped for Artefacto’s fourth annual Design House exhibition this month. The event paired the ‘Ladies of the House,” with big-name designers. The women, which included Lorena Dezer, Christy Martin, Katrina Peebles, Sara Colombo and Cristina Defortuna, are all known for sophisticated living and generous giving. They served as the designers’ inspiration for the various designs. Artefacto’s owner, Paulo Bacchi, made a $50,000 donation as a special tribute to these women.The Design House exhibition will be on display at Artefacto’s Coral Gables showroom until next August.

Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias Kick Off Tour

Yes, Haute 100-lister Pitbull is always on tour. But this month, he’s kicking off at 15-city tour with fellow Latin star Enrique Iglesias. They’ll be playing the American Airlines Arena in Miami on October 17th with rising star J Balvin. “There’s no better place for me than being up on stage in front of my fans,” said Enrique Iglesias. “And going on tour with a close friend and someone I admire, like Pitbull, is truly an honor. We really want to give everybody a show that they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
