Debs has also been appointed to design an exclusive trophy for the first ever Design Awards. “Today, in the Arab world, we are now exposed to design in a very new way—people have become conscious of good design,” she says. “It’s the perfect time to launch the awards to bring awareness to the availability of the different disciplines in design, from bathroom products to kitchen products to furniture brands. This will also open doors to the youth to challenge themselves to study design,” said Nada Debs regarding the Design Awards.

Nada is known for her work which is greatly influenced by Japanese minimalism. The designer has worked in a range of disciplines within the interior industry, including architecture, art objects and furniture.
