The event raised more than $1.35 million for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Pediatric Cancer Research Program, which is dedicated to curing and preventing childhood cancers. The program provides groundbreaking treatments and therapies for children with some of the most serious and life-threatening forms of cancers.

Of the 5,000 entrants, two Hollywood stars had the best times: Heather Tom came in first in the celebrity female division with a time of 2:08:45.69,, while Colin Egglesfield came in first in the celebrity male division with a time of 1:47:07.14.

Celebrity participants included Bob Iger, Jon Cryer, Max Greenfield, Teri Hatcher, Mark Feuerstein, Victor Oritz, Geoff Stults, Josh Hopkins, Michael Whetherly, Sanjay Gupta, Rob Riggle and Seamus Dever among others.
