Here at Haute Time we have died and gone to shoe heaven and it’s all thanks to Harrods.
The iconic department store has unveilved Harrods Shoe Heaven – a project spanning almost 42,000 sq ft on the Fifth Floor of the landmark London store.
With 17 plush boutiques presenting collections from over 50 leading designers and brands, from the likes of Chanel, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Louis Vuitton and Valentino, lining marble floored corridors, it is truly a shoe lover’s dream.
Designed by the late David Collins (the man behind some of the capital’s most glamorous restaurants including Claridge’s Bar and The Wolseley) with velvet banquet lounge seating, private shopping suites and beautifully edited displays, Harrods Shoe Heaven – and its expert style advisers – invite customers to experience a new way to shop that is more five-star hotel than shoe department.
The new area also has a ‘Silver Lining’ space showcasing 37 of today’s most iconic silver shoes – created exclusively for Harrods by designers including Valentino, Manolo Blahnik, Roger Vivier, Christian Louboutin, Rupert Sanderson and Charlotte Olympia.
Choose from metallic silver Valentino Rockstuds, Manolo Blahnik’s silver brooch-adorned Ariona mule, silver leather Kitty flats by Charlotte Olympia and silver booties from Alaïa.
