Chez Bon Bon Makes the Fontainebleau a Sweet Destination

Pastries at Chez Bon Bon

The Fontainebleau is all about honoring its trés chic history. This time, they’re “taking it to the sweets,” with a rechristening and reimagining of their former sweet shop, Solo, to Chez Bon Bon. The name is that of the original coffee and patisserie shop that was in the hotel in the middle of the last century. The design, however, is throughly 21st century, by renowned architect David Mexico.

Chez Bon Bon is all about it’s coffee heritage with the hotel’s signature “Black Velvet” house roasted coffee by Lamill. If the smell of fresh brewed coffee isn’t enough to lure in the under-caffinated, the mind-boggling array of decadent sweets on display, will. Expect delectable specialty cakes, pastries, gelatos, cupcakes, and even savory light bites.

Pastry chef Jordi Panisello will put on a vast selection of bon bons made daily, including truffles, pralines, bonbons, fudge and more. There will also be live-action stations where guests can watch confectionary magic being made, in addition to ordering their own specialty cakes by resident cake artist Angela Louise Encino. What would be more chic for an intimate dinner party chez vous?

“Not only does Chez Bon Bon revere the Fontainebleau’s original coffee shop, it will offer a variety of savory and sweet treats that will surpass any other offerings available in town,” says Philip Goldfarb, President and COO of Fontainebleau Miami Beach. “Staying true to the Fontainebleau vision, hotel guests and locals will enjoy an enriching experience that evokes sweet memories and will surely lure them back for seconds.” The Fontainebleau has never been about understatement and Chez Bon Bon is a sweet-lovers kid-in-a-candy-store dream come true.
