The Griffin
The Griffin is a new designer shoe and accessories store by Lesley Griffith who built an A-list client base after twenty years at South Miami’s Capretto. Griffin’s close relationship with lux designers promises to yield great gear from the best labels like Chloé, Giuseppe Zanotti, Valentino and even some more elusive ones like Isabel Marant. Griffin is important because not only will it have yummy shoes and delicious handbags, it marks Coconut Grove’s return to retail prominence.

Basico
The colorful Ocean Drive men’s boutique is opening their second store this fall. The story will be in the trendy new Wynwood district and be the first exclusively menswear shop in the area. Owner Francesco Cianci is very hand-on with the store to insure his stock of designs from Bogosse, Original Paperbacks, Psycho Bunny and Citizens of Humanity are always in tip-top shape.

Intermix
Intermix is expanding in Miami in a big way. First, a sunny new shop on Lincoln Road opens in August, which feature a neutrallet , beachy palette and carry a “Magic City” sweatshirt designed by Pieter Ceizer, celebrating the city. Then, in November, a new 2,413 foot store will open in tony Bal Harbour Shops. Expect custom interiors designed by Tobias Grau with white washed oak and Italian marble floors and an array of styles selected just for Bal Harbour.

Webster
The Webster will be opening a third store this fall in Bal Harbour following the success of their previous stores, The Webster Miami and The Webster Bal Harbour. This one is just for men and in true Webster fashion, will feature a curated selection of hand picked men’s ready to wear, shoes, and accessories. Look for haute brands the likes Saint Laurent, Dior Homme, Balmain and many more.

Ferragamo
Ferragamo will be reopening their boutique in Bal Harbour. Under their new Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti, the flagship stores will be undergoing a redesign that will see the Bal Harbour store be the first two story boutique in the Bal Harbour Shops. The first floor will be redesigned and features the women’s collection, while the second floor will feature the men’s collection, with a custom elevator and open staircase connecting the two collections.

Oxygene
Owned by Haute 100 Lister Shayne Cohen, Oxygene is the go-to boutique for cutting edge fashion from emerging and established designers like Nina Ricci, Balmain and Alexander Wang. They even have fine jewelry by Dionea Orcini. But their latest new label is Alexandre Vauthier, whose drapy-chic and body-con dresses with slashes in all the right places, just arrived this month.
