Zac Posen Shares His Must-Have Travel Essentials

Between star-studded galas in Manhattan, relaxing getaways in the Hamptons, and fashion shows all over the world, Zac Posen is definitely a man on the go-go-go. To keep his creative juices flowing (and his skin moisturized) while he’s cruising at 35,000 feet, the 33-year-old designer shared his must-have travel essentials with Haute Living.

“I’m pretty simple,” he reveals. “I always have a book, a sketchbook, headphones, MAC face spray, JAR perfume, and my itinerary. And usually a cashmere throw or a sweater.”

To help you channel Posen’s jet-setting lifestyle, we’ve rounded up a slew of travel essentials perfect for your next haute getaway.

1. Book

All Fall Down

For a breezy beach read that you won’t want to put down (except to jump in the pool, of course), check out the new novel by bestselling author, Jennifer Weiner. Featuring a cast of charismatic characters and Weiner’s renown comedic flourishes, “All Fall Down” tells the story of a woman’s harrowing brush with addiction, and her struggle to find her way back up again.

2. Sketchbook

Stylishly jot down your ideas or drawings with Palomino’s luxury sketchbook. The durable soft cover and acid-free paper will keep your creations safe and sound so you can focus on coming up with great ideas instead of rips, tears and fading.

3. Headphones

For supreme sound without bulk, pick up a pair of JH Audio JH16 Pro headphones— the world’s first custom in-ear monitors. Like you’re favorite couture creation, these earbuds are built to fit your actual ears using molds that you have made.

4. Face Spray

Pressurized cabins of airplanes can wreck havoc on your skin! Refresh your pores with MAC’s Fix+ face spray, an aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals infused with a calming blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, and the invigorating scent of Sugi. It’s also great to keep in your Hamptons beach bag for a quick surf-side pick-me-up.

5. JAR Perfume

JAR

For a scent that will set you apart from the crowd, check out “The Bolt of Lightning” by celebrated jewelry designer Joel A. Rosenthal. Like its name suggests, this spicy and smokey perfume is supposed to smell like the air right after a bolt of lighting strikes. Plus, each bottle has been hand-cut from glass so you’ll definitely want to show it off on your dresser.

6. Cashmere Throw
