Saks Fifth Avenue & ‘SNL’ Are Joining Forces For Cancer Awareness Campaign

Saks Fifth Avenue is waging a war against cancer—and New York’s A-list is ready to help! The luxury retailer recently revealed that Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Vanessa Bayer, Cecily Strong, and Colin Jost will serve as Entertainment Industry Foundation ambassadors for its 2014 Key To The Cure campaign, a subset of the Women’s Cancer Research Fund.

To kick off the campaign—and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Saturday Night Live—New York designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone have created a limited-edition tee shirt featuring a stylized sketch of a key alongside the words “to the cure.”

“We’re proud to have Will, Ana, Cecily, Vanessa and Colin serve as the faces of Key To The Cure in support of this deserving cause,” explained Lorne Michaels, Creator & Executive Producer for SNL.

The unisex shirt will retail for $35 at Saks Fifth Avenue stores, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH stores, and online at beginning Oct. 1. Even better—100 percent of the proceeds will go to charitable cancer programs dedicated to finding new detection methods, better treatments, and ultimately, cures for women’s cancers.
