Haute Event: American Museum of Natural History Inside Dark Universe Gala

This week the American Museum of Natural History toasted its Junior Council with the final event of its 2013-2014 season. The Inside Dark Universe gala included a special screening of the museum’s show Dark Universe, which is narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium.

Rosamond Kinzler, the executive producer of Dark Universe and senior director of science education at the Museum, and Vivian Trakinski, Dark Universe producer, introduced the show and gave guests insight into its making. Afterwards, there was a cocktail and jazz reception on the museum’s Arthur Ross Terrace.

Guests included Co-chairs Gaelin Rosenwaks, Iain and Zoe Wilson, Holly and Marty Okner, Zachary and Lori Pomerantz and Steering committee members Joe and Susan Shatz and Matt and Erin Ahrens.
