Ethiad Airways and City of Beverly Hills Host High-Flying Fete

ethiad1Etihad Airways recently hosted a gala reception at the Beverly House in Beverly Hills  to celebrate the June 1 launch of its daily service between Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi.The City of Beverly Hills and Ethiad Airways brought together luminaries from the world of entertainment, travel, fashion, and politics.

Country music singer Harry Connick, Jr. was the headlining performer of the evening that honored the UAE Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, and U.S. Ambassador to the UAE and the Honorable Michael H. Corbin. Connick performed following a 3D mapping sound and light show presented by Ethiad Airways

Dannii Minogue, Ethiad Airways brand ambassador and X Factor judge, hosted the grand reception. Renowned music producer, Quincy Jones, former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, acclaimed chef Wolfgang Puck, and actor Shaun Toub also attended the festivities.Ethiad2

Ethiad Airways’ recently announced its Residence program, which will showcase a three-room hotel in the sky on the airline’s A380 aircraft. The airline’s fleet includes 99 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, and more than 220 additional aircraft on “firm order.”
