The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas kicked off the Set Your Life To Music summer concert series on Thursday night at the Boulevard Pool with “Our Big Concert (OBC)” presented by X107.5. The stacked lineup featured Capital Cities, Phantogram, KONGOS, Cherub, MS MR, The Orwells and Bad Things. The packed crowd grooved for hours to hits such as MS MR’s “Hurricane” and KONGOS’ “Come With Me Now.”

Alternative-dance group Capital Cities and electronic rock duo Phantogram co-headlined the evening. Up first, Phantogram, who were playing their first show in Las Vegas, charmed the crowd with “Don’t Move,” “Fall in Love,” and “Mouthfull of Diamonds.” Capital Cities closed out the official SYLTM series kickoff by opening with “Kangaroo Court.” During the middle of the performance, the crowd joined front men Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian for the duo’s signature Capital Cities Shuffle during “Center Stage.” Hits such as “Safe and Sound” and “Origami” from their album In a Tidal Wave of Mystery ended the exhilarating evening on a high note.
